These Terms & Conditions explain how booking requests, vehicle rentals, payments, insurance, deposits and returns are handled by Easy Rental Albania.
The final price and rental-specific conditions are confirmed with you before vehicle collection.
Scope and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions apply when you use easyrentalalbania.com, send a booking request, receive a reservation confirmation or rent a vehicle from Easy Rental Albania.
By confirming a reservation or signing or otherwise accepting a rental agreement, you agree to the conditions provided for that rental. Please read them before collecting the vehicle and ask us about anything that is unclear.
These website terms provide general information. The confirmed quotation, vehicle handover record and rental agreement contain the final rental-specific price, deposit, insurance, fuel, timing and driver conditions. Mandatory rights under applicable law always remain in force.
About Easy Rental Albania
Easy Rental Albania provides vehicle-rental and related customer-support services in Albania.
Booking requests and confirmation
A form submission, WhatsApp message, email or phone enquiry is a request for availability. It does not by itself create a confirmed reservation or guarantee a particular vehicle.
A reservation becomes confirmed only when Easy Rental Albania expressly confirms it in writing, including by email or WhatsApp, and you accept any conditions stated in that confirmation.
- You must provide complete and accurate contact, driver, date, time, location and vehicle information.
- Please review the confirmation and notify us promptly if any detail is incorrect.
- Changes requested after confirmation depend on availability and may change the price or conditions.
- A licence upload or other document may be requested to check eligibility, but final verification may also take place at pickup.
This means the website does not require an automatic online prepayment when you send a booking request, unless a different arrangement is expressly communicated and accepted for your rental. It does not remove the renter’s obligation to pay the confirmed rental price or security deposit when due.
Driver eligibility and documents
Every driver must meet the eligibility conditions communicated for the selected vehicle and insurance option. At or before pickup, each driver may be required to present:
- A valid original driving licence accepted for driving in Albania.
- A valid passport or identity document.
- Any additional permit, translation or supporting document required by law or reasonably requested for verification.
- Payment or deposit documentation applicable to the confirmed rental.
Minimum age, licence-holding period and other eligibility requirements may differ by vehicle, insurer or driver profile. These requirements will be communicated before confirmation or collection. If a driver cannot provide valid documents or does not meet the confirmed requirements, the vehicle may not be released.
The renter is responsible for ensuring that every authorised driver remains legally entitled and fit to drive throughout the rental.
Price, payment and security deposit
Website prices are displayed in euros unless stated otherwise. The final quotation will identify the rental period, selected vehicle or category, included services, chosen extras, insurance option, security deposit and any other agreed amount.
The booking interface may display options such as TPL, Casco, Full Casco, baby seat or return-cleaning services. Displayed amounts and labels are subject to availability and final confirmation. Insurance names are short commercial descriptions; the rental agreement and applicable insurance conditions define the actual cover and exclusions.
You are responsible for agreed rental charges and other amounts properly due under the rental agreement. Any deduction from a security deposit must relate to an amount payable under the agreement or applicable law and should be supported by reasonable information.
Vehicle availability and substitution
We aim to provide the vehicle confirmed for your reservation. Vehicle availability can nevertheless be affected by late returns, breakdowns, accidents, safety issues or events outside our reasonable control.
If the confirmed vehicle is unavailable, we may offer a vehicle of a similar or higher category without increasing the confirmed base rental price, or propose another reasonable solution. If only a lower category is available, any price difference should be explained and adjusted as appropriate. You may accept or reject a materially different alternative before taking possession.
Photographs on the website illustrate the vehicle or category. Colour, trim, model year and minor features may differ unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Pickup, inspection and return
Pickup and return must take place at the agreed location, date and time. Please notify us promptly of a flight delay, late arrival or requested schedule change.
At handover
- Inspect the vehicle with us and make sure existing visible damage, fuel level, mileage and supplied equipment are recorded.
- Ask for an explanation of controls, emergency contacts or rental conditions you do not understand.
- Do not accept or drive a vehicle you reasonably believe is unsafe; notify us immediately.
At return
- Return the vehicle, keys, documents and supplied equipment at the agreed place and time.
- Allow a reasonable inspection and report any new damage, warning light, incident or mechanical problem.
- If an unattended return is expressly agreed, follow the provided instructions. Responsibility for the vehicle continues until it is returned as agreed, subject to applicable law.
Fuel, mileage and cleanliness
The fuel level, mileage terms and expected return condition will be shown in the confirmation, handover record or rental agreement. You must use the correct fuel and return the vehicle according to the agreed fuel arrangement.
Where the confirmed rental includes unlimited mileage, normal use remains subject to the permitted-use, geographic and rental-period conditions in these terms and the rental agreement.
Normal cleaning is expected after ordinary use. A separately selected “return it dirty” or similar service does not cover smoking, burns, stains, excessive soil, biohazards, pet-related damage or other exceptional cleaning unless expressly stated. Any additional cleaning charge must be reasonable, connected to the vehicle’s return condition and permitted by the confirmed agreement.
Permitted and prohibited use
The vehicle must be used carefully, lawfully and only for normal private or business road travel consistent with the rental agreement. You must:
- Follow traffic, parking, safety and road laws and use seat belts and child restraints as required.
- Lock the vehicle, safeguard the keys and documents, and take reasonable measures against theft or damage.
- Monitor warning lights and stop safely if continuing to drive could cause damage or danger.
- Use the vehicle only on suitable roads and within the approved territory.
The vehicle must not be used:
- By an unauthorised or unlicensed driver.
- While the driver is impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, fatigue or another condition that makes driving unsafe or unlawful.
- For racing, speed testing, driver training, towing, pushing, paid passenger transport or illegal activity unless expressly authorised.
- Off-road, on unsuitable roads, in overloaded condition or contrary to manufacturer limits.
- To transport dangerous, prohibited or improperly secured goods.
- In a way that is reckless, negligent, abusive or likely to invalidate insurance cover.
Authorised drivers and cross-border travel
Only a driver named or otherwise expressly authorised in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle. The primary renter is responsible for ensuring that every authorised driver understands and follows the rental conditions.
The vehicle may not be taken outside Albania, transported by ferry or used in a territory not covered by the confirmed rental without our prior written approval. Cross-border use may require additional documents, insurance, fees or geographic restrictions, which will be communicated before approval.
A verbal assumption is not enough. Obtain written approval and the required vehicle and insurance documents before leaving Albania.
Insurance, damage and liability
The confirmed rental will state the selected insurance or protection option, any security deposit or renter liability, and the principal cover and exclusions. Third-party liability (TPL), Casco and Full Casco labels do not mean that every type of loss is covered without conditions.
Subject to the confirmed insurance and applicable law, cover or limitation of liability may not apply to loss arising from matters such as:
- An unauthorised, unlicensed or impaired driver.
- Prohibited use, deliberate damage, gross negligence or failure to safeguard the vehicle or keys.
- Unapproved cross-border or off-road use.
- Failure to report an accident, theft or damage promptly or to cooperate with required procedures.
- Incorrect fuel, lost keys or documents, or tyre, wheel, glass, roof, interior or underbody damage where the selected cover excludes it.
- Personal belongings left in or taken from the vehicle.
You will not be charged for pre-existing damage recorded at handover or for ordinary wear and tear. For alleged new damage, we should provide reasonable supporting information, taking account of the handover and return records, rental agreement, insurance conditions and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Accidents, breakdowns and theft
If the vehicle is involved in an accident, is damaged, breaks down, is stolen or becomes unsafe:
- Stop safely, protect passengers and contact emergency services where necessary.
- Contact Easy Rental Albania as soon as reasonably possible and follow reasonable assistance instructions.
- Notify the police or another competent authority where required by law, by the rental agreement or by the circumstances.
- Do not admit legal liability, promise payment or arrange repairs without authorisation, except for emergency action reasonably needed for safety.
- Collect relevant information such as the other party’s details, registration number, photographs, location, witnesses and official report, when safe and lawful.
- Cooperate with the rental company, insurer and competent authorities in the incident or claim process.
Roadside assistance and replacement-vehicle availability depend on the cause, location, safety, rental conditions and available fleet. You are not responsible for a mechanical failure that was not caused or worsened by misuse, negligence or failure to respond reasonably to a warning.
Traffic fines, tolls and other charges
The renter is responsible for traffic and parking violations, tolls, road charges and similar amounts arising from use of the vehicle during the rental, unless caused by Easy Rental Albania before or after that period.
Where legally required or permitted, we may provide renter or driver details to the competent authority or pass on a notice relating to the rental. Any separate administration charge must have been disclosed in the confirmed rental conditions and must comply with applicable law.
You must also pay properly established charges for agreed extras, missing items, unapproved late return, exceptional cleaning, refuelling, damage or other breaches only where they apply under the rental agreement and applicable law.
Changes, cancellation, no-show and early return
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a confirmed booking. A requested change is subject to availability and may affect the vehicle, price, pickup arrangements or other conditions.
Any cancellation, no-show, late-collection or early-return condition that applies to your rental will be disclosed in the written confirmation or rental agreement. Sending an unconfirmed website request does not by itself create a cancellation charge. We will not apply an undisclosed charge merely because you sent an enquiry.
If we must cancel because no safe or suitable vehicle is available, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and propose a reasonable alternative where available. Any amount already paid for a service we do not provide will be handled according to the accepted agreement and applicable law.
Website information and communications
We aim to keep vehicle descriptions, availability, prices and other website information accurate. Occasional typographical, technical or availability errors may occur. We may correct an obvious error before confirmation and will explain any material change before asking you to proceed.
Website content is general information and does not guarantee that every vehicle, feature, price or service is available for every date or location. A personalised written confirmation controls over an earlier general website statement for the same rental, provided mandatory legal rights are respected.
Email, phone and WhatsApp may be used for booking and support communications. You are responsible for providing current contact details and checking the confirmation you receive. Links to third-party websites or services are provided for convenience; their own terms and policies apply.
Personal data
We process contact, booking, identity, driving-licence, rental, payment-status and incident information where necessary to respond to requests, verify eligibility, provide the rental, comply with law and protect legitimate rights.

Questions, complaints and disputes
If you have a question or complaint, contact us with your name, booking or rental details and a clear description of the issue. Supporting photographs, receipts or documents can help us review it efficiently.
We will try to resolve complaints fairly and directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved, either party may use any competent consumer-protection, mediation or judicial process available under applicable law. These terms do not restrict any mandatory right to seek assistance from a competent authority or court.
Applicable law and changes to these terms
These terms and rentals provided by Easy Rental Albania are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections that apply under relevant law.
If one provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not automatically waive it.
We may update these website terms to reflect service, legal or operational changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. The version provided or available when a reservation is confirmed normally applies to that rental, unless a later change is required by law or expressly accepted by both parties.
