  • Booking, rental, invoice and accounting records: normally for the rental period and up to five years afterwards, or longer when required by tax, accounting, insurance or limitation rules.
  • Driving-licence copies: normally deleted within 30 days after the rental ends, unless a longer period is necessary for an incident, claim, dispute or legal obligation.
  • Claims and complaints: until resolved and for any applicable legal limitation period.
  • Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent or the information is no longer needed, subject to periodic review.
  • Cookie and analytics data: according to the configured cookie lifetime, your consent choices and the relevant provider’s retention settings.

When retention is no longer justified, data is deleted, anonymised or securely archived where the law requires continued storage.

Measures may include access restrictions, account protection, secure hosting, backups, updates and limiting document access to authorised persons.
